How we work

Small studio, plain terms

emberfold labs is an independent app studio. Its first app, emberslate, is a TV and movie tracker for Android, available for pre-registration on Google Play. Every app ships with a plain-language privacy policy, no advertising, and account deletion from inside the app or on the web.

One app at a time: The lineup stays small on purpose. emberslate is what we're building right now, and it gets all of it.
Clear about data: Each app has a plain-language privacy policy that explains what it collects and why.
Leaving is easy: Delete your account from inside the app or from the web — no support ticket, no waiting period. The privacy policy spells out what deletion removes, and the few copies it can't reach straight away.

The details are in emberslate's privacy policy.
